ACROSS TIME

Fay sighed, she knew that Irving was hiding something from her, she could see it in his eyes.

Elle smiled pushed herself a little closer to Dominic for a second, her body rubbing a little against his, "I love you too..." She told him before pushing herself out of his arms.

"I can walk the rest of the way," She told him, she rested her head on Dominic's arm and held onto his hand, she laced her fingers with is. Something caught her eye, she bent down and picked up the ring she threw out the window. She put it in his pocket.

The images were coming stronger and stronger now, as Irving could feel them over-whelm his mind, like a one track goal of a man possessed. With each passing moment, Thorn's spirit took more and more control of Irving, pushing the thief back into submission. Thorn's raw desires were now bubbling to the surface as his twisted mind conjured up all sorts of kinky thoughts towards Elle.

Dominic's heart jumped and skipped seeing the change in Elle's demeanor. With his sorrow coming to an end, it then dawned on him that he was hungry, having not fed all day. For most people, hunger is an annoyance resulting in stomach rumbling, but for a vampire, it can cause intense physical pain. He grimaced slightly, as he walked up the stairs, holding on to his beloved's hand.

"My...d-dear. I'm afraid it will be a bit before I can join you in bed. I..hunger and I must prowl the streets for some vermin to feed on. I haven't fed all day."

Fay sighed, she wasn't really in the mood, "Maybe..." She told him quietly, she had no idea how someone could be turned on so easily. She yawned, she was tired and right now, sex wasn't even on her mind. She had way too much to worry about.

Elle nodded, "So... I was thinking... It wasn't fair for me to restrict what you can eat... You don't restict me like that... Insted of only four legged vermin, I think that something two legged should be on the menu," She told him. She seemed to be happy but it was all a facade to get people to leaven her alone.

Irving/Thorn was not to go unrewarded, as he saw it. His mind whizzed through what to say next and, tapping into Irving's own thoughts and desires, decided to tone it down a little bit.

"Well...I'm a bit tired myself." he said finally. "It's just...after all we've been through today, it just reminds me of why I fell in love with you in the first place. And the way what's left of the moonlight hits you...."

He sighed heavily as they walked into the apartment, Dominic closing the door behind them.

"It's just...seeing what happened to Elle brought back all these memories that I thought I had forgotten, and I'm just scared I'm going to lose you cause of something stupid I would do. I just want to show my appreciation for loving me...that's all."



Dominic cocked an eyebrow, surprised by this sudden revelation from Elle.

"Two-legged? Well, I must say, I am surprised. This works out best for us, for I can return to you quicker and in better strength."

With a gentle kiss on her lips, he hopped to the window seal, turning to face everyone.

"I shall be back later tonight. I'm going to the docks and find some loathsome individuals...muggers, rapists, the like. I shall return later. Until then, Irving, Fay...please make yourselves at home." and with that, jumped off the ledge and disappeared into the darkness.

Elle's back was turned towards Irving/Thorn, with the possessed thief eying up every curve in her body. She would have to wait, though. For now, his goal was Fay. Granted, she didn't offer the newness that he sought, but she was beautiful and experienced and he did enjoy a woman who knew her way around a bed

Fay blushed a little, "That's so sweet..." She told him, smiling.

Elle walked to the door to the guest room, "You two can sleep in here," She opened the door across the hall, "This is Dominic's and my room. Fay, you can find something in the dresser to wear tonight... I'm going to get into the shower..." She told them before walking into the bathroom, locking the door behind her.

Fay smiled, "So... now that Dominic's gone and Elle's occupied..." Her voice trailed off and she moved closer to him.

As Dominic prowled the shadows, keeping an eye out for any scum, he couldn't help but think something seemed different about Irving. His scent was the same, as his blood aroma hadn't changed. No, but Dominic could just sense a change him, Call it odd, call it random, but something didn't seem quite right.

Irving/Thorn grinned and wrapped his arms around Fay's waist, gently kissing up and down her neck. He cursed himself not being able to smell her blood, but he was embracing the softness of her skin regardless. His hands roamed up and down her back, as he fell with her on the sheets.

"You drive me wild, my goddess..." he said softly in her ear.

Elle was sitting on the bottom of the shower she tears were running down her cheeks but it wasn't really possible to tell due to the water beating down on her head. She had rubbed her skin raw. She was now red, pink and bleeding in some areas. Though paranoia was setting in and no matter how hard she scrubbed she still felt filthy.

"Well, you drive me crazy sometimes," She joked as she shivered in his arms, she brought her hands up and began unbuttoning his shirt.

"Do I now?" Irving/Thorn said with a smirk. His hands reached down to unfasten her leather pants, tugging them down her sexy legs. He groaned a bit, before kissing up and down her neck, amazed at how soft her skin was.

Last thing Irving remembered was walking towards the apartment holding Fay's hand. In a flash of light, he found himself where he is now, standing in the middle of an empty black void, with no signs of life or anything for what seemed like forever.

"Hello?" the thief said out loud, his voice echoing on and on.

"Hello Irving." came Thorn's voice from nowhere. "I have much to show you..."

Fay eyed Irving strangely, something about his eyes were off, he also was touching her strangely. It seemed more of an exploration then revisitation, but she ignored it, even though her mind was telling her that something was wrong.

Elle turned the shower off but sat there for a while, the water was now gone from her skin and she was shivering. Her skin was now raw and bleeding. Her eyes were red and tears were streaming down her cheeks. She still felt filthy but the pain coming from her skin was almost too much to bare.

She stood up and wrapped her body in a pure white towel, which was soon stained by her blood. During her shower she tried to scratch off some of her skin. The skin that he touched, but she was too shaken up to do so, for the most part.

She walked out of the bathroom and into her and Dominic's room and put on a t-shirt and sweatpants.

She left their room and sighed, there was a hole in the wall from Dominic and glass skattered all over the floor, she remembered the glass when a shard found it's way into her heal. She cursed under her breath and pulled it out. She walked into the kitchen leaving bloody foot prints. She took the dust pan and brush out of the closet and cleaned up the mess. She threw the glass out then the paranoia set in again.

Elle was breathing heavily she was dizzy again and felt as if someone was going to come after her again. She ran into her and Dominic's room and locked the door. She wanted to lock the window, but then Dominic would have no way into their room.

She laid on their bed in the fetal position, just staring blankly at a spot on the wall as tears ran down her cheeks.

"I'm glad to see you're awake." Thorn's voice said.

"WHERE THE HELL AM I?!" Irving shouted, madly stomping around to find Thorn and get his hands on him.

"I'm where you are, and yet, I am not." Thorn replied cryptically. "But I did not bring you here to attack you, no. Instead I wished to show you the truth. Open your eyes to what you've been blind to see."

Irving opened his mouth for a snarky comeback, but instead, an image flashed before him as if were being projected on a screen. It was Fay as she seemed to be nervous, sitting on the edge of their bed back home.

"Fay?" he said. But the image did not response.

"...I'm not sure if I'm ready for this..." Fay said to someone off screen. "Can...can we just forget about this?"

What was followed was a drunken grunt, as a large sailor pinned her to the bed. Fay frantically tried to free herself, but the sailor was no match and forcefully had his way with her.

"S-S-S-top!" she cried, her face slick with tears.

"UNGFHHHFFFHHHH!" he grunted like a primate, simply punishing her with his hips.

It wasn't long till Irving/Thorn had her stripped. His fingernails dug deep into her hips, as he leaned forward to suck and nibble on her nipples. He was hypnotized by her and intended to take his lust for Elle out on her.

"Mm..." he said after a bit. "Why not use that hot mouth of yours?"

Fay froze up a bit she was ripped from her blissful state, "You... You've never talked to me like that," She said softly. Irving was being pretty rough with her, and things hadn't really heated up.

Irving was normally warm and loving, tonight he just seemed to be rough and uncaring, "Irving... Wha-what's going on in your head?" She asked in a shakey voice, his actions seemed a little familiar to her.

Irving did not want to see this and quickly turned around to take his glance off the images. But they were right there to stare him back in the face again. He walked in another direction and it was everywhere.

"....stttooopppp...!" Fay cried, but the sailor showed no signs of slowing down. He pumped himself out of her, occasionally smacking her across the face to drive his point home.

"Do you see this?" Thorn said. "This is what YOU did to her. You slept with that mage for no other reason than you could and look what you did to her!"

"...stop it!" Irving cried, falling to his knees.

But the images wouldn't go away.

'Dammit!' Thorn thought, forgetting he was in Irving's body and not his own.

"Um, sorry about that hun." he said, trying to force more of Irving's thoughts into his brain. "I was just trying something new, ya know? Spice things up a bit. Sorry about that...you do whatever you feel comfortable with, hun."

Fay smiled a little bit, Maybe I was wrong... she thought before very lightly brushing her lips against Irvings. She moved her hips along his leg and began unfastening his pants.

Elle was shivering but too out of it to get under the blankets. Her eye lids were becomng heavy. She was trying to wait for Dominic, she needed someone to talk to, she had no idea how long it had been since he left. She closed her eyes and drifted off to a restless sleep.

By this time the first image had ended, showing Fay huddled on her bed, crying to herself as a few gold coins were slammed on the nightstand next to her. It then shortly faded to black.

"Well?" Thorn said.

"Nice try." Irving said, stepping back up. "But I know that happened and as much as it hurts, I can't change it."

"Indeed. You are stronger than I thought. You've seen what happens when both parties aren't interested, true. But what happens when it's willing?"

Another image showed up, this time of Fay kissing another man, but this time, it seemed more soft and gentle.

"I missed you so much, Fay. You do things my wife would never do." he said.

"Is that so?" Fay said with a smirk. "Then why don't you show me how much you missed me?"

What followed was an intense kiss, followed by stripping of their clothes as they made love on the bear skin rug in front of her fireplace.

"She seems to be enjoying herself..." Thorn said, his voice dripping with smug satisfaction. Irving was trying his best not to be phased.

"She was desperate for money. She did what she had to do." he said, watching as this mysterious man showered his wife with kisses all over her body,

Irving/Thorn had soon stripped Fay down to nothing, as he himself was just a naked. He grinded his body against hers slightly, before kissing down her neck. That name cut through Irving like a hot knife, Johnathan being the man Fay was briefly engaged to during his absence. The images flickered in front of the thief as he watched Fay groan and moan, a look of sheer bliss on her face.

"OKAY!" Irving shouted, as he was forced to watch more and more images of Johnathan and Fay flashed in front of him. Their passion, their lust...their love, it was all overwhelming to the thief. "I get the damn point!"

Thorn just laughed, keeping the images going as Fay and Johnathan rocked their sweaty naked bodies together, his hands gripping and squeezing her breasts as their bodies glistened with sweat.

"...very well then." he said, trying to sound polite as possible. "We can just...sleep."

He licked his lips and squirmed slightly under the bed sheets. It was simple, really. Wait for Fay to fall asleep and then sneak in to have his way with Elle. It was perfect.

Fay nodded and opened the closet and pulled out a few blankets. She didn't want to be anywhere near Irving right now so she took one of the pillows off of the bed, "Sleep well," She told him before leaving the room. She closed the door behind her, there was, neatly folded an oversized t-shirt and a pair of sweat pants.

She threw what she held in her arms and put the clothes on laid down on the couch. So many divices in this room confused her, though, she was tired now and would deal with that in the morning.

"HARDER!" Fay groaned, as Johnathan railed into her, slamming his hips against her sweaty naked body.

This was the 4th separate scene Irving had watched now, each one almost exactly the same. Lots of sweet talk, some tender kissing and necking, followed by seemingly endless passionate sex. He gave up trying to look away, as Thorn would just simply relocate the image somewhere else.

"This is pointless." Irving said, more than irritated now. "Yeah, this is pretty crummy but I already know about all of this stuff. You're wasting my time."

"I must give you credit, thief." Thorn said. "But, before I let you go, there's one last thing left."

Before Irving could react, another image flashed on the screen. This time, the image seemed to be fairly recent. Fay was naked on her back, resting on her and Irving's bed with...Lucy's head buried between her legs, licking and nibbling Fay to a frenzy.

"This?" Irving said with a cocked eyebrow. "This is nothing new. They used to be an item back in the day."

"Oh?" Thorn said. "This happened last week..."

"IT DID?!" Irving said in disbelief. Normally, the concept of Fay and Lucy together would be a turn on, but not this. Mostly for the fact she never told Irving she was still sleeping with Lucy, with the thief feeling lied to and cheated on, His heart was breaking, and Thorn couldn't be happier. The image, of course, was completely false, but he had managed to prey on Irving's deepest fears. When Irving stopped struggling, Thorn was now in complete control.

With Fay asleep, now was Irving/Thorn's chance. Carefully, he got up out of bed, still naked and tip toed through the living room, passed the sleeping Fay.

Quietly, he opened the door to Elle and Dominic's room. Since he was in full control of Irving, it meant his previous vampiric powers were now back and this would make things easier than before.

He climbed on top of the sleeping Elle, pinning her to the bed. With amount of focus, his brain-washing power was in full effect.

"Awaken, Elle." he said, his eyes glued on to hers, slowly robbing her of her free will. "Awaken for your new husband,"

Elle struggled for a second but she was too weak and he was too powerful. Insted she decided to make things as difficult and pulled and squrimed as much as possible. She heard a loud crack and there was a white hot pain coming from her shoulder.

She kept squriming, though the pain was going away and her movements were now only large in her head. She soon ceased movement and just stared up, barely breathing. Her fingers, her legs, they all relaxed.

"STOP IT!" Irving shouted, now furious with rage. "This...this never happened! And besides, you can't prove this happened last week! Fay and Lucy were lovers way before I came back into the picture."

Thorn didn't reply, but on cue, Fay hit her peak and arched her back into an almost perfect C. As the orgasm tore through her body, Lucy was quick to bury her head in ever deeper, devouring anything she could her lips on.

That last sentence felt like a knife in the thief's heart, falling to his knees as he felt his life had lost all meaning. Thorn laughed hard and loud, his false memories of Fay having just the desired effect on the thief.

"Fay..." Irving said quietly "...how...how could you?"

"That's a good girl." Irving/Thorn said with a smirk. "Don't fight it, just give in. Just give in."

His hands roamed over her body on top of the sheets. groaning at how she still felt so soft and supple. He wanted to take her right now, but something clicked in his brain before he did such.

"My sweet, sweet Elle. Before I make sweet, beautiful love to you once more, I have a gift for you. Something I'm sure you will enjoy for generations to come."

Leaning forward, he licked up and down her neck softly, his fangs, which had now grown out, glistening in the moonlight. His mouth was just inches from her neck, when Dominic stepped in, fresh from feeding on an attempted rapist.

"IRVING!" he shouted, now full of rage. Irving/Thorn hissed in disgust and sat up, irritated that his meal was broken up. Dominic sniffed the air, his eyes narrowing into rage. He could smell Thorn's scent in Irving and knew the poor thief was possessed.

"Out of his body, Thorn, or else I will drag your soul to hell."

Irving/Thorn laughed coldly and climbed up off Elle.

"Hell you say? I don't think you know the meaning of the word hell. ELLE! Stand up and fight this man. Demonstrate your love for me and how you will do anything for me."

Elle sat up rather stiffly and got off the bed. She placed her hand on her dislocated shoulder and with a very rough push there was a grotuesque cracking noise and her arm that once hung limp due to her strugle was back in place. This act would normally cause extreme pain but her face remained stoic.

"Yes... My love..." She told him in a quiet, empty voice. Her eyes were dull and it seemed as she was just a soul less shell moving only because it was ordered to. Her wings opened up and she lifted off the ground. She shot forward using her freshly mended shoulder to push him back with all the force she could muster.

"You can't beat me, vampire," She told him in the same hallow voice.

The images had moved to Fay and Lucy, taking a bath together, exploring each other with soapy sponges. Irving wasn't even paying attention at this point, as he sat with his knees pulled to his chest, his head buried in his hands.

"Do you see now why she is of no use to you?" Thorn said. "She has lied to you, disgraced you. She has done the very same thing she claimed to be so hurt over that you did. Even if by some chance you do manage to beat me, is it worth it? Is it worth it to reunite yourself with a two-timing whore?"

Irving didn't say anything, just sat there motionless.

"And if you do manage to go back to your own time, again, is it worth it? Your children living in such a primitive and uncultured time. I have powers, powers which you would not believe. I can take them to this time, give them the clothing, the food, the medicine they need to survive. No longer shall every day be a struggle, I can give them wealth beyond their wildest dreams. And all you have to do is give me complete control."

"I'll...I'll think about it..." Irving said quietly.

Dominic made no attempt to dodge the shot, with Elle ramming into him at full speed. Her should smashed into his chest with every ounce of demonic force she could muster. Dominic staggered back a bit and fell to his back side, the air having being expelled from his lungs violently.

"....E-Elle...n-no...." he said, trying to struggle back to his feet. Irving/Thorn smiled in amusement, casually sitting on the edge of the bed, still completely naked.

"Excellent work, my beloved." he said, encouraging the zombie-like Elle on. "Destroy him, destroy the vampire. He never loved you and he never will. Remember how he treated you when you lost your child? How cruel and thoughtless he was? But I can do better. Pledge your life, your love to me and I shall grant you the child you so rightfully deserve."

Elle walked up to Dominic and grabbed his neck she brought him close to her, "Fight back!" She told him, even though her voice was relatively hallow, there was still anger in it. Her eyes turned back to normal, and she inhaled sharply, she knew she would only be able to control her body for a short period of time, "Dominic... If it comes to it... You have to kill me... I-I refuse to be his bride," She cried before her eyes turned dull again. She threw Dominic across the room. She turned to him, she wasn't Elle anymore, she was just a shell.

"She's growing weak..." She smiled, "That little outburst of her's will make her soul die quicker, or just go into submission," She walked closer, "If you even care about her, you'll fight for her soul, and her freedom, I guess Thorn is right, you don't care about her..."
