Broken Limits

"Ahhh..... no fun... we can't let the blond one leave Katsu."
Kira then noticed that the masked boy had other things on his mind, mainly the now discovered medical ninja with the unnatural hair color.
"oi... Katsu... snap out of the trance buddy!"
The masked nin snaps awake from his thoughts. Kira motions that they'll follow Ino, and that Katsu can maybe ask about the Pink haired one.
"I really should go train Kira-"
"not another word about training, you train too much, time to be human." Kira interrupts him.
Human, Katsu thought. what would it be like indeed.
"all right, I'll follow if you insist." They follow after Ino, Katsu being the only one trying to be stealthy, Kira just plain following.
"I wonder if we should buy her something... you got money?"
"why but stuff... and you know I'm broke."
"you sure you're human Katsu... girls like stuff, you buy stuff, they grow more fond of you... get with the program."
Katsu's ears shut off at human.
Human.... that word swam through the masked ninja's mind like a whirlpool.

Ino hadn't gotten very far towards home when she heard the footsteps behind her on Konoha's dirt streets. Naturally, she had been absorbed in her own thoughts about Sakura and the ever-so-certain-to-return Sasuke-kun again. Turning her head as though tossing a stray bit of blonde hair from her eyes, she caught sight of the two genin from earlier already giving chase. Them again? she thought, almost glaring.

"Oi, Ino." a familiar bored voice called from over by the kunoichi's flower shop/home.

Turning her attention from the two shinobi who suddenly seemed determined to hold her attention, she whirled to face a more familiar face glancing out from the flower shop at her. Half-closed eyes staring past her sharply, Nara Shikamaru frowned at the two other genin.

"Yes," she said shortly. "I know I've got admirers. I suppose I just can't help it."

Never could help bragging you mean. he sighed, rolling his eyes and blinking furiously in the dusty air. As usual, troublesome. "You're needed over at Ichiraku." he added shortly. "There's a debate on Team 10's third member."

"Third member?" Ino said, following him off the wooden porch of the shop as he began walking briskly.

"Yeah." he replied. Tch....you've already forgotten I'm ahead of you and Chouji. Troublesome.

((( KATSU )))

"oooi... she's talking to that guy? ah man, I hope he's just a freind." Kira groaned to himself.
"judging by the look on the boy's face.. they aren't even freinds. and in case you didn't know... she's already spotted us when she supposedly flipped her long hair back."
Kira by the time wasn't surprised by Katsu's observation skills, but somehow surprised they were spotted.
Hmph.. the girl looks like the kind that looks in a mirror for hoursKatsu thought to himself
Kira really only goes for looks, I could always ditch him.. but he'll complain to me when he comes back. after all, I agreed to house him and all. I must think of a better excuse besides the usual training one. well, I do need to meet my team, I hope this works.
"oi, Kira... I really need to meet up with my new team and all... maybe I should leave this one to you... go get her" Katsu fakingly waved a little "victory" flag.
"oh no, you don't need to meet the team until later Katsu, I need you here... I'm sure the girls go wild for you."
"and what gives you that idea? I'm always wearing a demon mask, how can girl's like a guy who never shows his face?"
"duuh Katsu, girls like mysterious guys. honestly you don't know women well."
Neither do you obviously... otherwise we wouldn't be stalking some obviously vain girl. Katsu decided to keep his remarks to himself.
Kira quickens his pace until they are close enough to be heard.
"oi! hey, girl... I feel we didn't really introduce ourselves well enough."
If I know females like this well enough, she'll oblige us just to show that she can get the attention of males. Katsu thought.

((( LITH )))

"No... no you didn't... But I guess stalkling me was proof enough about how much you wanted to meet me," said the blonde ninja, with a turn of her head.

"I guess we didn't have to go to Ichiraku," droned Shikamaru. "Anyway we should-"

A young, black haired girl slowly walked by the group, then turned, studying Kira and Katsu. She blinked, eyes widening with horror, "Y... You're the ones who tried to molest me at the bath house you pervs!!!" she shouted loud enough for the entire street to hear.

Inos eyes widened, while one of Shikamarus eyebrows slowly rose.

Pale lavender eyes welling with tears, she ran off crying into an alleyway. Leaning against the wall was a young tan skinned ninja, no more than twelve and clothed in a loose tie dye shirt. "You got 'em dudette?" he grinned

Wiping the tears from her eyes, Hyuga Hanabi suddenly began laughing, "yup! everyone started staring at them... it was funny..."

"Well come on dudette, we still need to fill that fatties food with diet pills"

The two young ninja vanished.

"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BEND MY LEGS?!" shouted Ryuu, wincing in pain at every bump his wheelchair took.

"I don't think we could have fit you on there lying down," shrugged 'Shuki, pushing the chair along the pathes of the Hidden lava village. The three genin had decided that getting Ryuu home to his mother was the safest thing for the genin before they all had to start gather supplies for their trip to Konoha.

"My knee... dislocated itself again... and I think the wounds on I disagree reopened," grumbled the masked genin

"We could have Rysuki cauterize them for you," suggested Chishuki.

The fire eye twitched.

"Look on the bright side! you could always try and burn your own eyes out," snickered the kunoichi.

Lowering his hat over his eyes, Rysuki muttered, "I'd rather not, Setting Ryuu's ass on fire is not high on my-"

"Okay! never speak of this again! NEVER AGAIN" Ryuu shouted.

"It seems Mr. Grumples McAngrypants hasn't had his chocolate" said Chishuki, stuffing a large candy bar down Ryuus mask. "Eat it and calm yourself down"

"mmf!"

Katsu stared, completely shocked.
He was used to being stared at and scaring people, but never has his honor been insulted such as that.
He turns to Kira, who is himself rather shocked at the sudden interruption, with a glare that could peel paint.
"kira... what did you do? I...have....never...been...so..insulted...."
Kira was genuinally scared. the fear washed right into his face.
"I swear Katsu, I did no such thing! that girl's crazy I swear on my mother's grave!"
"My honor... has been insulted...by a stranger.... I'mgoing to break your neck!"
Katsu flared with anger as he jumped Kira, clenching his hands around the black-haired boy's throat.

Rysuki frowned -a gesture that caused him a mild twinge of pain from the scar beneath his right eye- as the three genin left the hospital mountain in Yougangakure. They had left accomponied by multiple stares from other shinobi and kunoichi alike. In the history of the village, it suddenly occured to Rysuki that very few if any of them had ever seen three ninjas leave the hospital fully conscious and on the road to recovery.

"So.." he asked in a tired-sounding tone. "Where is Ryuu's home anyway?"

The wheelchair-bound shinobi pulled off his helmet, hair plastered to his face from the heat and looked around in confusion. He knew the village. He had been born in it. He had grown up in it.

And yet, he realized he suddenly had no idea where they were.

"You don't know, do you?" Rysuki sighed.

"I've never seen the village from the view of the hospital before." he muttered resentfully, just waiting for one of the others to pipe up imperiously and point them in the right direction with but a glance.

Nobody did.

"Well this sucks worse than an inexperienced prostitute." Rysuki groaned, sitting down on a rocky outcropping over a river of lava as though the churning magma below was of no concern.

"How'd you know?" Ryuu asked, turning his gaze sidewas and wishing for a moment he weren't strapped in with a neck brace.

Rysuki glared back at him, noting that Chisuki's mind seemed to be working up another retort or unknown word of some kind.

"Well then, I guess we're uberscrewed." she said, leaning against the back of the wheelchair and using chakra strings to hurl rocks against each other and knock them over the thin stone bridge into the lava.

We must be the biggest joke in the lava village... Rysuki thought unhappily.

"Emobutt!" the chipper voice shouted again.

"Emobutt? The hell... Is she always like this?" chimmed a voice from above the small group of genin.

Though Ryuu couldn't look up, he recognized the voice in an instant, "m-mom?"

The kunoichi sat, legs hanging, on the side of one of yougunkagures buildings with a huge grin on her face. "Of course, who else would it be? not your father thats for sure."

Hopping down onto the ground below, she ruffled Ryuus hair, "You happy that I unlocked your helmet for a little while? be sure to get it back on by the time we get hom of Raikou will throw a fit."

"how big off an assmunch is he?" asked chishuki.

Mayaa blinked, "stop making up stuff like that, its weird"

"Its fine mom..." said Ryuu. "Can you get us home now?"

"Of course of course! anything for you," she said with a happy clap of her hands. "Just follow me!"

Rysuki, who had been quietly observing the entire time, finally piped in, "Not to be disrespectful Mrs. Shiomi, but don't you think you should let Ryuu do something on his own once and a while? He's a ninja, not a toddler and shouldn't be treated as one. Perhaps if you hadn't always solved his problems, he wouldn't be in this state..."

Mayaa froze and slowly turned to face the ninja, eyes wide.

"Dear god she's going to kill him," thought Ryuu. "She's going to kill him and eat him to hide the evidence... oh god."

But nothing happened. For several long and distuurbing seconds, nothing happened.

Suddenly, Mayaa turned and walked off, quietly talking to herself in a small and hurt voice. "That can't... no... it just... he... and Raikou... my fault? oh god what have I done..."

The kunoichi fanished around the corner, leaving the three ninja staring until Chishuki finally broke the silence, "Whose gonna unloseificate us now?"

Ryuu meanwhile, sat in his metal wheelchair with a look of utmost terror upon the parts of his face that weren't coated in ointment-dipped bandages. On the outside, he could barely move, but on the inside, he was running as far away as he could in his own mind.

"R-Ry...BASTARD!!!" he shouted, managing to shiver. "My dad's gonna keep abusing me now and my mom won't be able to defend me anymore!" and this is all your fault too....you are related to Kyuubi!

"Guess you'll have to do it yourself then." Rysuki shrugged, leaping from a standing position up onto a rocky overhang that allowed him a better view of their area. "Besides, haven't you ever wanted to kick your dad where it hurts?" he added with a wink.

"I wouldn't have to worry about that if you hadn't butted in!" Ryuu said, gritting his teeth against the bandages as he suddenly wished he had something from the hospital; preferably something very sharp and infected.

"You're going to have to stand on your own two feet sometime." Rysuki said, facing away from his teammates and staring off into the setting sun with both eyes narrowed. "They don't let parents take the exams with their children."

He paused to raise one hand near his right ear and catch the shuriken on an ash-blackened thumb. The lava from below lit his smirk with an eerie light as he half-turned his head back to Ryuu, who had managed to use one pinky to flip the casing on his thigh holster and snap his fingers to send the small weapon flying upwards.

"Learning already it seems." he said, smile stretching even wider in the glowing light of the rivers around them. "Guess we know what buttons to push. Try this one." he continued. "Your mother went off around a corner." Leaping down, he stood near Ryuu and Chishuki, one eye on the former to make sure he didn't try anything with a shuriken again. "If you'd watched instead of gaping, you might've noticed what I just confirmed up on the overhang. Your house is just around the corner and two blocks down."

"I'll have to remember the leaplook thing." Chishuki said, sitting down with her legs spread to scratch two rocks together and provide the insects on the ground with a bit of a view.

"One corner and two blocks." Rysuki repeated, shrugging as he fiddled with the red and gold headband hanging around his neck. "Think you'll make it or should I bring the fan-girl back here to draw your mother out?"

This time he had to catch two shuriken.
